RentRedi alternatives
RentRedi alternatives, including staying.
Every price on this page was read from the vendor's own pricing page, each entry links its source, and rents.ai is not at the top of the list. That is not modesty. It is what makes the rest of the page usable.
Short answer
RentRedi is $12/mo billed annually for unlimited properties with rent collection, syndication, maintenance and one-click Schedule E, which is difficult to beat on breadth per dollar. The alternatives that genuinely undercut it are free: Stessa Essentials, Baselane Core and Azibo, which has no monthly fee for landlords at all. TenantCloud from $15/mo billed annually is the closest paid alternative on shape.
First question
Should you actually leave RentRedi?
Often not. Switching accounting products mid-year costs real hours, so it is worth being specific about what is wrong before reading a list of replacements.
Reasons to stay
- Unlimited properties, tenants and teammates at $12/mo billed annually is one of the strongest value propositions in the category.
- One-click Schedule E generation, syndication to four major sites, maintenance and a tenant mobile app is a lot of surface area for the price.
- The 30-day money-back guarantee means an annual commitment is not really a one-year risk.
Reasons people leave
- There is no free plan, and several competitors have one.
- The month-to-month price is $29.95, which is steep if you will not commit annually.
- Its pricing page does not state whether it computes a residential depreciation schedule.
- You want banking or a general ledger rather than an operations product.

5 alternatives to RentRedi.

1TenantCloud
$15 to $50/mo
Best for landlords who want leasing and operations on a mid-priced plan.
$15/mo, more than RentRedi's $12/mo entry plan. The published feature sets are close, so price and fit decide it rather than any single capability. Worth a look if you are someone who want leasing and operations on a mid-priced plan.

4rents.ai
$10/mo one property, $18/mo unlimited
Best for landlords whose actual gap is the tax return.
Cheaper than RentRedi on the entry plan and much narrower. Not a general replacement, and it does less. It is the answer only if the specific thing you want is residential depreciation computed from cost basis on the 27.5-year mid-month schedule, and a per-property Schedule E kept current all year, without a bank login.

Questions
What people ask before switching.
Is there a free alternative to RentRedi?
Yes. On published August 2026 pricing, Stessa Essentials and Baselane Core are both $0/mo with rent collection included, Azibo has no monthly fee for property owners, and Landlord Studio's Go plan is free for up to three units. None of them match RentRedi's full operations surface area, but all four cost nothing.
What is cheaper than RentRedi?
On a monthly basis, the free plans above. Among paid products, nothing in this comparison set undercuts $12/mo billed annually for unlimited units. TenantCloud Starter is $15/mo billed annually, rents.ai Pro is $18/mo, and Rentec Pro, DoorLoop and Buildium all start at $55/mo or more.
What does rents.ai do that RentRedi does not?
One thing: it computes residential depreciation from cost basis, land value and in-service date on the 27.5-year straight-line mid-month convention and places it on Schedule E line 18. RentRedi's pricing page states one-click Schedule E generation but does not state a depreciation schedule. On everything else RentRedi does more, for less.
If the gap is the tax return, look at ours.
